About the Project
"Project" is a cinematic, emotionally grounded story rooted in New York City and Caribbean culture. The film explores survival, identity, family, pressure, ambition, loyalty, and the cost of chasing something greater. This project aims to build a powerful proof‑of‑concept trailer leading into a full independent feature.
ROLES CURRENTLY CASTING
ANTWON — Lead
Black/African American male, 14–16 (or someone who can convincingly play this age). Observant, intelligent, conflicted, and emotionally layered. Parent/guardian involvement required for minors.
STACY — Co‑Lead
Black female, 18–25. Grounded, emotional, strong, culturally aware. Caribbean background or a believable Caribbean connection/accent is a plus.
BOSS — Supporting
Black male, 30–50. Calm, authoritative, dangerous, controlled. Jamaican/Caribbean background preferred.
MITCHEL — Supporting
Black male, 25–40. Intense, jealous, unstable, emotionally charged.
